My Zazzle Shop

I have already mentioned a little bit about my Zazzle shop where I sell print on demand items. I sell a bit of everything and keep adding to my "shop". One of my desired goals is to earn money from sales and have the proceeds to to animal rescue efforts and causes.

Here's is the flash panel that shows all my current products:

CELEBRATING MY KISSY'S BIRTHDAY

Okay, I'm like a lot of pet owners who, yes, I celebrate my pet's birthday, and in this case my highly pampered "baby" named Kissy. October 21, 2012 marked her 13th birthday. I actually created a "special" event over at Facebook where my friends could "celebrate" with her. I even provided a "wish list" link to Amazon.com, where if some of my friends wanted to, they could buy birthday gifts for her. So in my wish list I posted items such as catnip toys, bags of her favorite dry cat food, and her all time favorite, her Fancy Feast moist canned food. Oh, and needless to say, she's a very fussy eater and ONLY prefers certain flavors, such as Savory Salmon, Ocean Whitefish & Tuna, and Cod, Sole & Shrimp flavors. Heaven forbid I get anything else as she doesn't like and won't eat it.

The thing is that I also decided to order a case of 24 cans of those flavors, and it was one of those, like "duh" moments of why didn't I order pet food sooner? Near me in my local store, one can, one can mind you is $1.19! The discovery I made was that by ordering on-line, not only could I get an entire case of 24 cans and save myself the task of lugging home so many cans, but more important, even with shipping costs, the all around cost was a lot cheaper.

Then I actually came across another discovery. Instead of ordering from Amazon.com, I found the same case of 24 cans of her favorite flavors was a few bucks cheaper at Walmart.com's website. So naturally I ordered from there. And amazingly I didn't have to wait long for the order to arrive.

And yes, some of my friends did actually order a few goodies. One person ordered a 16-lb. bag of her favorite dry food that was on the wish list, which you can see here.

Then another friend sent me these treats to Kissy, including some cute catnip toys.

Just a day before it was to be the birthday girl's birthday I took a "candid"photo of her with my phone. As you can see, she's on my unmade bed...which by the way, usually remains unmade for many hours after I get up. Heaven forbid, I disturb her, as she does love snoozing on it...and only a fellow pet owner will know what I mean by that.

And you just know of course I made up a special card for her that I designed.

Sighs..such a poor deprived kitty, right? As I write this at this moment, Kissy is on my bed, and yes still unmade, sound asleep and snoring a storm.

Ah the life of a pampered cat. I should be so "deprived"

My Zazzle Shop

Well for a few months now I've been tinkering around with a shop over at Zazzle which I called "pyewacketcreations". At Zazzle one can create a myriad of products using their own photos, drawings, paintings or graphics.

Here's the link to my Zazzle shop:

Discovered A Great New Site

First of all, goodness, it's been awhile since I've made any entries...I've been busy writing articles for Associated Content and been blogging at other places.

Anyway, a friend of mine at the discussion forum, started a discussion about this new site she discovered and quite often one can win free food...yes, that's right free food.

The basic website is at 5 dollardinners

There latest contest is here: Gluten Free Pasta

Many of us as you know are allergic to wheat gluten products and that would include pasta. The pasta that is being given away is a new type not yet available in the US but with this promo, one can actually win some of this pasta...I'm giving it a go! The pasta is instead made out of rice flour..would LOVE to try this!!

MY OWN ARTIST'S PRAYER

I'm a great fan of Julia Cameron, and I especially love her book The Artist's Way. In it she suggests that one creates their own Artist's Prayer, of which I did back on June 1, 2001...This is a modified and slightly edited version, and since I'm of the Wiccan/Pagan path the wording of my prayer might be different than one expects.

The Author In Me

Writing is by no means a new adventure to me, as I've been writing for a long time. I don't seem to be plagued by writer's block by any means, in fact I have just a bit too many ideas, and this is especially true with short stories and novel ideas. My hindrence seems to be time. Well, I do hope to remedy that somehow, even if it's only to type in one or two pages of any of my stories.

But now I've ventured out a bit and have delved into the world of article writing, and like many who are also writers, have discovered such sites as Associated Content. Now I did join some time ago, submitted my first article and it was rejected. This didn't deter me too much as, with anyone who is in the art or creative fields, one has to get used to rejections, not that its a great feeling, but it does come in the territory of being an "artist" of any kind.

Well then only a few weeks ago, I decided to give Associated Content another go at it, and just rattled of two articles, of very different genres. One was an overview of the whole Harry Potter phenomenon, while the other about my SSI problem I had. Talk about two different subjects. To my amazement, the Harry Potter one got accepted almost right away, and a few days later the other article was accepted and published. Now I was pumped...and did another, plus submitted one of my short stories. Well they are published as well now, and I now invite you to go over and read my articles.

Here is my general Content Producer page:
